I just went in for my 20 week ultrasound and the dr told me that there is almost no amniotic fluid around the baby. Can I have my scan earlier or later than 18-20 weeks? The volume doubles to 800 millilitres at 28 weeks gestation, and remains at that level until 37 weeks, when it starts to go down.
